On my way to work this morning I heard a Weight Watchers ad for their “New Year’s” discount that they’re offering this spring. I’m not plugging the company or anything, but I have to say, it’s a great idea. Losing weight is probably one of the top New Year’s resolutions, but the number of people that successfully start their weight loss plan on January 1st is tiny because it’s so hard to get motivated to exercise when it’s cold and gray outside. What better time to start exercising than when spring has sprung. Warm, sunny weather makes everything seem more fun … even exercising.
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) there are plenty of temptations that can throw off diet and exercise goals even when the weather is nice. For St. Louisians, one of these temptations is the candy from Lake Forest Confections. I could go on and on about their caramel lollipops or pecan bark, but why? I’ll let the video speak for itself.
Check out Lake Forest’s website for more details on their Easter treats.
