Watching "Meet the Press" this morning, and reflecting on all of the friends of Tiger Woods who have somehow sought the limelight to discuss Tiger's problems, I was reminded by the advice I have given spokespeople for over 20 years..."Don't feel compelled to fill the silence in an interview."
The more Obama appointees and Tiger fans speak, the more they contradict themselves. It is not that their messages are contradictory (although many are), but the more things are said the more they are misunderstood. Communications seems so simple, but it is really complicated.
Know what you want to say and then say it. Nothing more; nothing less.

Less Is Always More
